Countdown
The first day in Toronto is coming to an end.
The day started with a rather dull (and long) journey from Austria to Canada. It was filled with a not working internet connection at Pearson Airport, a working internet connection in the bus that took me from the airport to my hotel and a semi-working internet connection here at the Chestnut Residence.
The whole thing took longer than expected, thus, I won’t have my ISMB badge until tomorrow. Tomorrow will also be the culmination of my stay here, with a poster presentation of our little RNA visualization application (and afterwards an encore in the IMAX watching The Dark Knight).
Toronto is a very buoyant city, and I hope to get some exploring, shopping and even sight-seeing done until Wednesday.
